Nora-Jane Noone was born in Galway. She is an actress and writer, known for The Descent (2005), The Magdalene Sisters (2002) Brooklyn (2015) and Wildfire (2021).
She most recently played opposite Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott in Bring Them Down, directed by Christopher Andrews (2023).
Nora-Jane won the Hitchcock Award for Best Performance in Wildfire and the Dinard Film Festival (2021). The Best Ensemble Award at the British Independent Film Awards for The Magdalene Sisters (2003) the following year she was nominated for The Newcomer of the Year Award at the London Critics Circle Film Awards.
Nora-Jane has also been nominated for three Irish Film and Television Awards for her work in Wildfire (2021), Savage (2010) and The Descent (2005).
