Kwaku grew up in county Wicklow and graduated from The Lir Academy in 2017.

His stage appearances include: 'Piaf' directed by Des Kennedy for The Gate Theatre, 'The Beaty Queen of Leenane' directed by Rachel O'Riordan for the Lyric Hammersmith and Chichester Festival Theatre.

His screen credits include 'Hidden Assets' for RTÉ, 'Line of Duty' for the BBC, 'Redemption' for ITV, 'Normal People' for BBC and Hulu, and 'Animals' directed by Sophie Hyde. He is also the voice of Gael in the Skydance Animation feature 'Luck' on Apple+. 

Further stage credits include 'Absent the Wrong' by Carys D. Coburn; 'Asking for It' directed by Annabelle Comyn at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, 'Peat' directed by Tim Crouch, and 'On Raftery's Hill' directed by Caitriona McLaughlin at the Abbey Theatre.
