Honi hails from Co. Wicklow and is a graduate of The Lir Academy. She has a strong singing background (high soprano with classical, musical theatre, traditional, and choral training) and is confident working in a wide range of accents.

Honi is fluent in Irish and has worked extensively in Irish-language VO and with Fíbín and An Taibhdhearc both as an actor and writer. Credits include: Máire in An Triail (dir. Cillian Ó Donnachadha), Lúna in Lúminaria (dir. Maisie Lee), Young Woman in Machinal (dir. Holly Griffith), Yulia in Summerfolk (dir. Tom Creed), Olivia in Twelfth Night (dir. Davey Kelleher), Trivelin in Everybody Loves Sylvia (dir. Wayne Jordan), Juliette in Eclipsed (dir. Caroline Byrne) Awards Spotlight Prize finalist 2021. Best Ensemble award winner for Disco Pigs/Sucking Dublin at Irish Times Theatre Awards 2017.
