Barry McGovern has been an actor for many decades. He has appeared in many plays with most of the Irish theatre companies and in many television and feature films. He has narrated many documentaries and voiced many characters in TV programmes. His one-man Beckett shows have toured worldwide. He has narrated a number of audio books, notably Samuel Becket's Molloy and James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake.
He was also awarded an honorary Doctorate in Letters by Trinity College Dublin!
